Shape the night shift that keeps our lines running At ConMet’s Canton, NC facility, you’ll be the go-to expert when molding presses and assembly equipment need attention. Picture this: a molding machine throws an alarm at 2:17 a.m.—you’re already on the move, isolating the issue, reading the prints, and getting production back online.Role snapshot: Perform maintenance and repairs on injection molding and assembly equipment, tackle both reactive and preventive work, and help drive continuous improvement across the plant. What you’ll take on Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of injection molding and assembly mechanical systemsDiagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problemsExecute scheduled preventive maintenance to improve reliability and uptimeSupport continuous improvement projects and participate in root cause analysisObserve and comply with all company rules and regulations, including the NFPA 70E Arc Flash PPE and proceduresRespond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions Schedule This is a 12-hour night shift position.
