Sr. Maintenance Mechanic (1st shift)

Perform maintenance on production machines to ensure they are always in top operating condition. These machines include CNC Machine Tools (Mills, Swiss Lathes, EDM), Grinders, Presses, Laser Welding, Laser Etching machines, Injection Molding equipment, Sterilizing and Packaging equipment, etc. This position is 1st shift with the hours of 7am-3:30pm.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform all assigned tasks efficiently and in accordance with established Quality / Regulatory System.
• Under minimum supervision, maintain and troubleshoot automatic, electro/mechanical equipment involving programmable controllers, servo controllers, robotics, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical and electronic systems.
• Identify safety related issues and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Perform planned maintenance activities in accordance with Computerized Maintenance Management system.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, such as equipment operators, 3rd party contractors, manufacturing engineers, and members of the management team.
• Instruct and train fellow Technicians as required.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• High School Degree or Equivalency
• 4 years of relevant work experience in CNC machinery and/or other manufacturing settings.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing environment
