The Corporate Accounts Director is a strategic leader within CONMED’s Health Care Systems, responsible for driving enterprise sales, national and corporate account strategy, and long-term partnerships with 8–12 leading Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) in the Central US. This role serves as the primary executive interface for assigned IDNs, orchestrating cross-functional teams to drive enterprise sales, create opportunities for deeper engagement within large, complex IDNs, maximize contract value, and advance CONMED’s strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities STRATEGIC ACCOUNT LEADERSHIP: Develops and executes multi-year enterprise account strategies aligned with CONMED’s business objectives and the evolving needs of assigned IDNs. Serves as the primary point of contact for executive-level stakeholders, fostering trusted partnerships and driving enterprise-wide initiatives. Leads cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, clinical, supply chain, finance) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure seamless execution of account plans. CONTRACTING & NEGOTIATION: Develops, negotiates, and manages complex regional and national contracts, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and business unit priorities. Manages the full contract lifecycle, including renewals, amendments, and compliance, to maximize value and mitigate risk. Partners with GPOs, supply chain, and value analysis teams to secure and expand CONMED’s footprint within assigned accounts. BUSINESS & GROWTH PERFORMANCE: Formulates and achieves quarterly and annual objectives to support a three-year growth plan. Delivers comprehensive business reviews, identifies growth opportunities, and implements enabling programs to drive revenue, preserve pricing integrity, and protect margins. Monitors and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue growth, contract renewal rates, and customer satisfaction. CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & OPERATIONS EXCELLENCE: Ensures a differentiated customer experience through operational excellence, value-added services, and proactive communication. Resolves issues promptly, upholds commitments, and consistently exceeds customer expectations. Maintains compliance with all credentialing, background, and vaccination requirements for hospital access. THOUGHT LEADERSHIP & BEST PRACTICE: Acts as a subject matter expert and ambassador for Health Care Systems, sharing best practices and market insights across the organization. Stays current on healthcare trends, value-based care, and population health initiatives impacting IDNs. Required Skills Bachelor’s degree required; major in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field preferred. 8 years of progressive sales experience in medical device or healthcare technology, including at least 5 years in enterprise-level or national account management within Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs) or large health systems. Preferred Qualifications MBA or MHA strongly preferred. Proven success managing complex enterprise sales cycles from prospecting to close – and consistently achieving/exceeding revenue targets. Established relationships with executive and key decision-makers in assigned accounts. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; proven ability to present to diverse, senior audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, OneNote) and CRM/data analytics platforms High integrity, trustworthiness, and a collaborative, team-oriented approach. Safe driving and travel history; willingness and ability to travel up to 60%. Additional experience in marketing, supply chain, healthcare economics, or related fields is desirable. Knowledge of contract law. Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in data analysis. Self-motivated and solution driven. Tactful, exercising sound judgment and discretion. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. Excellent relationship-building, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proven success operating in a matrixed environment and working collaboratively with sales, management, finance, and customers. Physician & Credentialing Requirements Ability to meet with customers in hospital settings without restrictions to access including all necessary credentialing requirements at any hospital or health system. Must maintain independent mobility and interact regularly with computers, mobile devices, peers, and colleagues. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship. COMPENSATION As required by law, the annual salary range for this position is $118, 776–$190,890, plus commission and bonus. Actual compensation will be determined based on geographic location, professional experience, education, and skill level.
