Job Description
Associate Machine Operator
Set-up and operate machinery, equipment to fabricate items, parts, unites and packaging for shipment. Make required adjustments to equipment to maintain the manufacture of acceptable product to quality and performance standards. Perform tests, quality checks; perform preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, etc. Identify worn and damaged machine components requiring repair or replacement and assist when needed in the repair of the equipment. Maintain logs, lists, and complete required paperwork.
Perform set-ups and make necessary adjustments to machinery equipment
such as auto line machines, extruders, die cutters, packaging equipment,
printers, ect… to fabricate product for use or sale with-in quality and
performance standards and specifications.
Follow detailed instructions for operation and drawing to insure proper parts
production. Perform testing, quality checks, and complete required paper work.
Operate printers, packaging machines to package, label items, units, ect… for
shipment.
Perform preventive maintenance, identify worn and damaged components and
assist in the repair and replacement when required. Complete required
records, logs, and lists.
Support engineering in the operation of the equipment in the performance of
qualification activities: example, O.Q. P.Q.
Work Experience
Perform other related duties as required by management.
Over 12 months in a production environment.
Education Requirements
Preferred: High school diploma with additional training in blueprint reading, machine operation, etc... or equivalent.
Knowledge Requirements
Ability to independently read, understand and carry out written manufacturing procedures and standard work instructions. Ability to interpret basic blueprints, routings and diagrams including symbols, views, dimensions, written notes and specifications, along with utilizing tools such as micrometers, rulers, gauges, scales (standard) without assistance. Ability to perform math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, percentages, ratios, and averages to perform routine calculations.
