What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print Estimator position at Conlin's Digital Print?
We are looking for a print estimator to prepare accurate estimates for projects by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. The ideal candidate will have excellent numerical skills and an analytical mindset.
Duties and Skills:
- Requires basic knowledge of all aspects of prepress, press, bindery and fulfillment.
- Pricing of in-house orders
- Prepare competitive estimates by understanding customer projects, reviewing job costs, and preparing quotes
- Makes recommendations on production process and equipment based on job details, volume, company resources and costs
- Collaborates and coordinates with sales, customers, vendors and production staff
- Excellent math skills and problem solving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced print production environment
- Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30 to 5 pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
