About the Role
Conklin Metal Industries is looking for a Warehouse Lead to support our Jackson (Richland, MS) branch. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work alongside the team while helping guide daily operations.

What You’ll Do
Lead from the Floor
- Work alongside the team in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Help keep the warehouse clean, organized, and running efficiently
Support the Team
- Provide day-to-day direction to warehouse associates
- Help train new hires and reinforce best practices
- Promote a positive, team-focused work environment
Keep Inventory Accurate
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
- Ensure materials are stored properly and discrepancies are addressed
Prioritize Safety
- Follow and enforce safety procedures
- Maintain a safe and compliant work environment
Improve Processes
- Identify ways to improve workflow and efficiency
- Partner with leadership to implement improvements
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of warehouse experience (lead or supervisory experience preferred)
- Experience in industrial distribution (HVAC experience is a plus)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using computers (Microsoft Office, ERP systems)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment
- Reliable, team-oriented, and willing to lead by example
