Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Automotive Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has experience diagnosing and repairing a wide variety of vehicles while working efficiently in a fast-paced shop. This position is perfect for a technician who is capable of handling most repairs independently while continuing to develop advanced diagnostic skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and scheduled services.
- Diagnose and repair engine, steering, suspension, brake, and cooling system issues.
- Perform drivability diagnostics using scan tools and other diagnostic equipment.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and accurately document findings.
- Recommend needed repairs and maintenance to service advisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow manufacturer specifications and shop procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians to complete repairs efficiently.
Qualifications
- 3 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to perform repairs with minimal supervision.
- Experience using diagnostic scanners and repair information systems.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a physically demanding environment.
- ASE Certifications are a plus but not required.
