Join our team in Evans, GA as a Chassis Engineer and play a key role in the design, development, and integration of cutting-edge chassis systems!
🔧 What You'll Do:
- Design and develop chassis components: suspension, steering, brakes, and frame systems using Creo (PTC Creo Parametric)
- Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and drawings in compliance with GD&T standards
- Conduct FEA, structural analysis, and system-level simulations
- Collaborate cross-functionally across vehicle dynamics, packaging, manufacturing, testing, and suppliers
- Drive prototype builds, validation testing, and design troubleshooting
- Ensure compliance with safety, cost, weight, durability, and regulatory standards
- Contribute to DFMEA, BOMs, design reviews, and DFM/DFA initiatives
🎓 Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s (B.E./B.Tech) or higher in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering
- 3–7 years in chassis or mechanical systems design
- Strong proficiency in Creo (CAD modeling & drafting)
- Experience with CAE tools (ANSYS, HyperWorks, etc.)
- Solid understanding of vehicle dynamics, materials, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with industry standards: SAE, FMVSS, ISO
- Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
🌟 Preferred Skills:
- Master’s in engineering
- Experience with lightweight or electrified vehicle chassis
- Exposure to startups, PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill), and rapid development cycles
