Responsibilities
- Perform lawn care duties including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and aerating to ensure lush, healthy turf on the golf course.
- Maintain landscapes through planting, pruning, shrubbery trimming, and flower bed upkeep.
- Operate hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruners, and power tools to complete various landscaping tasks efficiently.
- Use machinery like excavators and snow plows for construction projects or seasonal snow removal.
- Conduct irrigation system inspections and repairs to ensure proper watering of all landscaped areas.
- Assist with hardscape projects including installing pathways, retaining walls, and other outdoor features.
- Support tree care activities such as trimming or removal using appropriate equipment while prioritizing safety.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure optimal operation and safety standards are met.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping, and golf course mowing equipment.
- Prior experience in lawn care, golf course maintenance or gardening is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment including excavators and snow plows.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles and plant care best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety protocols.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail and a proactive attitude toward maintenance tasks.
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
