Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily security activities, ensuring all procedures are executed effectively and efficiently
- Lead, train, and motivate security staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high vigilance standards
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems, monitor for suspicious activity, and respond promptly to incidents
- Manage access control for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors, verifying identities and authorizations
- Implement conflict management strategies to de-escalate situations calmly and professionally
- Perform routine patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or emergencies
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records for accountability and review
- Responsible for keeping accurate payroll records using ADP.
- Experience using Wheniwork to assign work schedules.
- Experience using the security app Silvertrac.
Skills
- Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service or related fields with a strong understanding of security protocols
- Proficiency in surveillance technology including CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques
- First aid certification with CPR knowledge to respond effectively in medical emergencies
- Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Strong leadership abilities to supervise and develop security personnel
- Knowledge of legal requirements related to security operations in various jurisdictions
- Ability to perform physical patrols and stand for extended periods while maintaining alertness
