HVAC Apprentice I is responsible for assembling sheet metal, setting roof curbs, installing mechanical equipment, as well as other HVAC-related items. Travel as needed is required.

Job Responsibilities (List is not inclusive)
- Must demonstrate the willingness to excel and learn commercial HVAC.
- Determine the right tools and equipment necessary to complete the job successfully.
- Must learn industry-relevant building codes and regulations for the installation and maintenance of commercial plumbing systems.
- Measure, cut, and bend mechanical material.
- Must be on the jobsite at the required time.
- Attend all safety meetings.
- Follow the instructions given by on-site leadership.
- Transport and return all materials/equipment the job site requires.
- Cleaning the job site after the work is completed.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and their inner workings.
- Familiarity with all tools and equipment necessary for HVAC installation and maintenance.
- Physical fitness and manual dexterity.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- OSHA 10 Certification required.
- At least 1 plus years of experience.
- Required to stand, walk, and sit.
- Talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
- Use hand (s) and fingers to handle or feel objects or controls.
- Reach with hand (s) and arm (s).
- Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.
