WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
In this nursing role, you will provide comprehensive care to our residents at Holy Cross House. Your day will involve assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting. You will perform necessary cleaning and disinfecting tasks and document care activities meticulously. Interaction with residents will be conducted with compassion and respect, ensuring their comfort and dignity. Communication and collaboration with your colleagues will be essential as you report on resident conditions and care needs to ensure seamless care across shifts. WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A NURSE ASSISTANT?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year(s) of related experience
- Valid CPR certification
- Ability to use common patient care equipment
- Professional appearance and a caring attitude
- Respectful of the religious beliefs of the congregation
- Verbal and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
CNA training and experience working with geriatric populations and psychosocial behavioral issues is preferred!
