Congregation Kol Shalom (CKS), a welcoming Reform Jewish community of about 130 families in North Kitsap County, is seeking a part-time Administrative Director (25 hours per week) to support its mission and foster an inclusive and egalitarian environment rooted in Jewish values. Reporting to the Board President, this role works collaboratively with the Rabbi, Board, Religious School teachers, and volunteers to manage day-to-day operations and advance CKS’s goals. The position offers flexibility for hybrid work and involves general office management, financial coordination with the bookkeeper, maintaining membership and school records, and providing administrative support across the organization.
The Administrative Director oversees communications, event coordination, facility operations, and member engagement. Key duties include maintaining the synagogue’s website, social media, and ShulCloud CRM database; managing vendor relationships; assisting with publicity; and ensuring smooth logistical support for services and programs. Candidates should have experience in office administration, strong communication and technology skills, and a basic understanding of Jewish practices. The position pays $25–$32 per hour, depending on experience, with a possibility of a flexible 3 to 4-day schedule. Beginning in December 2025.
