Role Description
This is a part-time, Hybrid Administrator role based in Bryan, TX. The Administrator will oversee weekly operations, support congregational activities, manage administrative tasks, and ensure the smooth functioning of the synagogue office.
Responsibilities include managing communication, supporting event coordination, maintaining membership records, assisting with financial processes, managing vendor interactions, and ensuring a welcoming environment for members, staff, and visitors.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including managing records, and office operations
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with staff, members, and community partners
- Basic financial management skills, including budgeting, invoicing, and tracking expenses
- Proficiency in office software, such as Google Docs, spreadsheets, and database management tools
- Experience with the Aplos software preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with Jewish traditions, holidays, and practices is required
- Background in education is preferred; opportunity to combine administrative responsibilities with teaching in the Sunday school program
