The Nadel Center for Early Childhood Education (NCECE) at Congregation B’nai Israel is seeking caring, dedicated individuals to join our Early Childhood Education team as Preschool Teaching Assistants and After School Team Members.

Responsibilities:
· Support lead teachers in the classroom with daily activities, routines, and child supervision
· Foster a safe, clean, organized, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
· Build positive relationships with students, families, and fellow staff
· Assist with classroom setup, cleanup, materials preparation, general housekeeping tasks, and transitions
· Communicate with children, families, and colleagues with warmth, dignity, and respect
· Attend school meetings, training, and occasional special events
Qualifications:
· High school diploma required; CDA, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
· Experience working with young children in a school or childcare setting
· Florida Childcare Required 45 hours of Child Care Training or active Staff Credential is a plus.
· Preference for candidates who are willing and able to work with toddlers ages 2 and under
· Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing personality
· Ability to collaborate and follow direction from lead teachers and school administrators
· Meet all requirements by regulatory agencies, including completion of required training
· Familiarity with Jewish traditions and holidays or a willingness to acquire this knowledge through study
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
