Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Sales (Printing Solutions) will be responsible for driving sales growth of printing and media solutions by developing new business, managing key client relationships, and supporting the sales team in achieving revenue targets. The role requires strong industry knowledge of commercial printing, large-format printing, branding, and media production, along with proven sales expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in all media related services including printing solutions which comprise of commercial printing, digital printing, offset printing, large-format, branding, and promotional materials.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and cost estimates in coordination with production and finance teams.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to close deals effectively.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, advertising agencies, NGOs, and government institutions.
- Act as the key point of contact for major accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Handle client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of printing projects.
Market Analysis & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies within the printing and media industry.
- Provide inputs to management for sales strategy, pricing, and new service offerings.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling media and printing services.
Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate closely with production, design, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate execution of orders.
- Track sales performance and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
- Support senior management in planning sales campaigns and promotional activities.
Team Support
- Assist in mentoring junior sales executives and guiding them on printing products and sales techniques.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and ethical sales practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6 to 8 years of proven sales experience in the printing and media industry.
- Experience in the printing industry is a must
- Strong knowledge of printing processes, materials, costing, and production workflows.
- Experience in B2B sales and handling high-value corporate accounts.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred Attributes:
- Prior experience working in African markets (especially Central Africa) is an advantage.
