The Role
The On-Premise Manager (OPM) manages all aspects of the Congo Brands portfolio in the On-Premise channel. The focus of this position is to influence distribution at the account level and increase our visibility and interactions with key consumers at the top influential accounts in priority markets. The OPM will drive brand awareness through creative activations and innovative On-Premise strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with customers and distributor partners.
Maintain and expand sales of the Congo Brands portfolio through the execution of On-Premise promotional activity in key designated accounts.
Communicate product information and features to customers.
Provide point-of-sale material and training/education to key accounts.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to team goals.
Work with and assist the On-Premise Director in building an annual business plan, including sales, distribution, and promotional efforts.
Provide best practice sharing and coordinate in market execution/activation drives against key market/account initiatives and new item launches.
Exhibit a high sense of urgency, be well organized, possess a great attitude, be a team player, and build strong working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Support, manage and proactively identify challenges/trends that new product introductions face in the area of responsibility and report appropriate developments.
Attend and work festivals, events, and trade shows.
Manage and maintain inventory levels.
Financial Management – Local A&P (Advertising & Promotion) and T&E (Travel & expense)
Key Skills and Experience Required
Outstanding sales experience and track record in CPG industry (Beverage Preferred)
Distributor and supplier experience preferred.
Complete understanding of the On-Premise retail environment.
Ability to work nights and/or weekends on an as-needed basis.
Computer literate with the ability to skillfully use software applications, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Valid Driver’s License
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (in lieu of a degree, a minimum of four years of sales experience with a CPG supplier or wholesaler)
