Soldering Technician

Job Title: Soldering Technician

Location: Albany, NY

Duration: Contract to hire

Pay Rate: $20.55 hr./w2

Shift Hours: 1st (6AM-2:30PM)

Job Description:

Note:  These Tech Bs will need soldering skills and will have to interview and pass a skills test to be eligible for hire.

Requirements:

• 2 years thru-hole and surface-mount soldering.
• Component-level soldering repair required.
• Testing/Troubleshooting/Repair of PCBs (printed circuit boards) at the component-level.
• Associate will be working on radio antennas / amplifier transmitters.
• Heavy equipment of 50 lbs. Will not be required to lift but must be willing to work with heavy electronic equipment. (i.e. slide radios on a conveyor belt)
• Computer literate. Basic computer proficiency & data entry. Be able to navigate computer applications (i.e. MS Office).
• Communicate with others in English. Training will be conducted in English. All technicians must be able to communicate with the team in English.
• REQUIRED: Safety-toe shoes are required. Techs will be working around heavy equipment.
