The Financial Pricing Analyst partners with sales and finance teams to develop strategic pricing models, financial solutions, and contract structures that drive profitable growth. This role focuses on financial modeling, deal analysis, and risk evaluation to support contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies. The analyst performs pricing and quoting functions, conducts profitability analysis, and provides actionable financial insights to guide business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate pricing strategies, financial models, and deal structures to support bids and proposals.
- Perform margin, rate of return, and risk assessments to ensure profitability and compliance.
- Collaborate with sales and business development teams to create value-based pricing for healthcare, MedTech, and commercial contracts.
- Review non-standard deal terms to confirm financial viability and adherence to margin targets.
- Build Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models and conduct forecasting, variance, and sensitivity analysis.
- Partner with finance, sales, legal, and operations to align contract terms and financial implications.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, financial formulas) for modeling and analysis.
- Support digitalization and automation initiatives through tools like Monday.com or other pricing/financial platforms.
- Ensure financial reporting accuracy and adherence to GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly to leadership and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 5–10 years of experience in pricing, quoting, or financial analysis in a commercial or contract environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; expertise in financial modeling and forecasting required.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, deal structuring, and business forecasting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in healthcare or MedTech industry preferred; knowledge of GPO and IDN contracts a plus.
Tools & Systems: Excel (advanced), ERP/CRM systems, Monday.com (preferred).
