Description:
Seeking a senior-level IT Operations professional with deep expertise in Cisco Software Defined Access (SDA) to support global enterprise network operations. This role is operations-heavy and requires strong hands-on configuration, implementation, and troubleshooting across complex LAN/WAN/Wireless environments. The ideal candidate can execute network changes safely, support post-go-live stabilization, and collaborate across global teams in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility for global time zones is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead deployment and support of Cisco SDA solutions using Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, Cisco Catalyst Switching, and Cisco Wireless.
- Perform hands-on configuration, implementation, and change execution per SOW/SOP.
- Support network segmentation, micro-segmentation, and policy-based automation.
- Troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wireless issues including connectivity failures, outages, and performance degradation.
- Work with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, LISP, MPLS, VXLAN, EVPN.
- Provide break/fix support for major incidents and post-deployment stabilization.
- Collaborate with global architecture, EU, and India teams; participate in daily stand-ups.
- Support environments leveraging SD-WAN, Meraki, VMware NSX, and automation tools like Python, Ansible, Terraform.
Qualifications:
- 5 years enterprise network operations experience.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Cisco SDA (mandatory).
- Deep knowledge of SDN, network security, automation, and cloud networking (AWS/Azure preferred).
- Proven troubleshooting across enterprise environments.
- CCNP preferred; CCIE a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills and flexibility for global support hours.
