We are seeking an entry-level Software/Firmware Test Engineer to support the development and release of advanced industrial automation products. In this role, you will work with a global engineering team to validate embedded software, execute functional testing, and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate has experience with C#, firmware testing, embedded runtime environments, and exposure to Industrial Automation, Motion Control, and I/O systems.
Responsibilities:
- Execute functional testing for industrial automation products and embedded firmware.
- Develop and execute test cases based on product requirements.
- Evaluate requirement testability and provide feedback to improve product quality.
- Identify, document, and communicate technical issues, defects, and design concerns.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, technical writers, support teams, and project managers throughout the testing lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor''''''''s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in C# programming with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Knowledge of firmware testing in complex embedded runtime environments.
- Experience or exposure to Industrial Automation, Motion Control, I/O systems, or related automation technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
