3:00pm – 11:30pm M-F (2nd shift)
The Electrical Assembler is responsible for performing sub-assembly and final assembly wiring for low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment. This role supports production operations by assembling components, routing wiring, and ensuring high-quality workmanship while meeting production deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and material handling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform sub-assembly and final assembly wiring with high accuracy and quality standards.
- Assemble electrical components, panels, and systems according to layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Install and organize material flow throughout various production stages.
- Work with large power cables using proper stripping, crimping, and connector installation techniques.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, wire strippers, and crimpers safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, wire lists, blueprints, and tape measurements with minimal supervision.
- Support production schedules by maintaining reliable attendance and meeting delivery timelines.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and comply with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 1 years of experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing build operations.
- 1 years of experience with commercial or industrial wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and wiring equipment.
- Basic understanding of electrical clearances and assembly processes preferred.
- Technical training or an Associate Degree in a related field is a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship.
