Seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support prototype development and precision fabrication. The role involves operating CNC/Manual milling machines, lathes, and sheet-metal tools, producing high-quality custom components for engineering and R&D teams. Responsibilities include managing raw materials, maintaining equipment, ensuring part accuracy, and supporting additive manufacturing operations using 3D Systems, Stratasys, MarkForged, and FormLabs printers. The machinist will also operate inspection tools such as Faro Arm, Keyence Optical Microscope, and Keyence Laser Comparator. Maintaining a safe, clean workspace and meeting production schedules are essential.Responsibilities:• Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual machining equipment.• Perform precision fabrication, measurement, and inspection activities.• Support prototyping by creating custom parts and maintaining shop equipment.• Manage material inventory and document work accurately.• Operate and maintain additive manufacturing equipment.• Perform machine maintenance, assembly tasks, and shop organization.• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.Qualifications:• 10 years of machining experience or 4 years with formal training.• Proficient with GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and measurement tools.• Skilled in NX CAD/CAM, CNC programming, and virtual design workflows.• Experience with additive manufacturing and DfAM preferred.• Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to lift up to 35 lbs.• Computer literate with the ability to operate both NC and manual equipment.• Detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative with strong organizational skills.
