Responsibilities
Under supervision of the Executive Director, the Restorative Justice Programs Director will exercise leadership in the management and growth of CRC’s restorative justice and practices programs. Duties include developing and maintaining program infrastructure for RJ Programs; overseeing RJ contracts including their budgets, scopes of works, implementation and evaluation; recruiting, scheduling, supervising, evaluating and “appreciating” RJ staff and volunteers; serving as a liaison to the Santa Cruz County offices and partner agencies; collecting data, evaluating and generating reports; strategic planning for aligning RJ programs with organizational goals and objectives; and promoting the values, goals, and policies of the CRC.
Qualifications
Expected Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ● Fluency in Spanish desired ● Fluency in trauma informed care ● Understand and support the agency mission with a strong sense of cultural humility, embodying the core values of the organization 2 ● Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills ● Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office, GSuite, Zoom, Canva, social media, etc) ● Excellent organizational skills: attention to detail, record keeping and reporting, time management, people management, collaboration, and resourcefulness ● Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal communication skills: being responsive, timely, open to feedback, willing to give feedback, and clear communicator ● Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and proactive while also collaborating with colleagues and working in teams ● Highly motivated, with organizational, administrative, and leadership abilities ● Ability to manage staff and volunteers ● Ability to manage multiple projects, contracts, and budget ● Willingness to work variable hours, including evenings and occasional weekends ● Interested and effective in working with people of diverse backgrounds, ages, and life orientations ● Expertise in restorative justice practices and application ● Valid California driver’s license and use of insured, reliable vehicle
