Regional Sales Manager US / ​​Senior Business Development Manager

Objective:

As a Regional Sales Manager for Product & Solutions Sales Team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets within the United States. Focusing on our Substation Integration & Management Solutions in Protection, Automation, and Control portfolio, you will work closely with partners & sales channels as well as work closely with customers to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and deliver innovative solutions in substation solutions integration, power systems, advanced automation gateway systems, power plant controllers, microgrids, cybersecurity and more.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets for the USA.
  • Proactively develop and maintain account relationships as assigned and/or identified to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product offering, and align to provide a solution.
  • Sell portfolio of products and solutions to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets.
  • Identify key market segments, customer profiles, and sales opportunities within the USA.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, manage sales forecasts, and track performance against targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including OEMs, consultants, and customers in the industrial and/or utilities segment.
  • Lead the sales channels in executing engagement plans, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Conduct customer presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions (in collaboration with technical pre-sales team) to showcase offerings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including tendering, product management, engineering, operations, and marketing, to ensure customer requirements are met and sales opportunities are maximized.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical Engineer), MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in industrial automation and industry or electric utilities.
  • Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably in industrial automation and industry or electric utilities.
  • Preferred knowledge of grid automation, power management, or related technologies.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
