Role: Oracle EBS R12 Discrete Manufacturing Consultant

Job Purpose and primary objectives:

• Manage Production Support

• Change Request execution

• Project execution

Key responsibilities:

Associate will be part of the TCS onsite team supporting Knowles. Experienced Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Discrete Manufacturing Consultant with strong functional expertise in implementing and supporting Oracle’s Manufacturing modules. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of BOM, Routing, WIP, Inventory, and Planning processes and hands-on experience with multiple end to end Oracle R12 implementations in discrete manufacturing environments.

Key Skills/Knowledge:

8–12 years of experience in Oracle EBS R12 Discrete Manufacturing implementation and support.

• Strong functional knowledge of:

• BOM & Routing

• WIP (Discrete Jobs)

• Inventory

• Engineering & Item Structures

• Hands-on experience with at least 2–3 full lifecycle implementations.

• Strong understanding of manufacturing concepts such as:

• Work order execution

• Shop floor control

• Material resource planning

• Standard costing

• Serialization and lot control

• Experience working in multi-org and global manufacturing environments.

Experience required:

• Lead end-to-end implementations of Oracle Discrete Manufacturing modules including:

• Bills of Material (BOM)

• Routings

• Work in Process (WIP)

• Cost Management

• Inventory

• Engineering Change Orders (ECO)

• Conduct requirement gathering workshops with manufacturing, production, and engineering teams.

• Configure Oracle R12 Manufacturing modules based on business requirements.

• Support manufacturing execution, production sequencing, job creation, scheduling, completions, and move transactions.

• Align discrete manufacturing processes with Oracle best practices.

Nice to Have:

Work with business teams to define and optimize processes for:

• Production planning

• Material consumption and backflushing

• Work order management

• Resource and operation costing

• Manufacturing accounting

• Support cross functional flows across Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management.

• Recommend improvements for production efficiency, accuracy, and traceability.
