Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and weld various metal components using power tools and hand tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of the metalwork.
- Cut metal sheets using plasma cutting equipment.
- Assemble and fit metal components together to create finished products.
- Perform welding tasks such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding to join metal pieces.
- Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder or similar role.
- Strong welding skills with the ability to weld various types of metals.
- Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
