Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control by directly managing vehicle acquisition, pricing strategies, and reconditioning processes to maximize turnover and profitability.
- Lead the used car sales team by setting clear goals, motivating staff, and fostering a high-performance culture focused on exceeding sales targets.
- Develop and implement innovative marketing campaigns to attract potential buyers and increase foot traffic both online and in the showroom.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers through exceptional service, active listening, and personalized solutions, ensuring repeat business and referrals.
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads, follow-ups, and sales pipeline progress effectively.
- Conduct Work Truck (business-to-business) sales efforts to establish partnerships with fleet buyers, corporate clients, or other external entities.
- Engage in outbound sales activities such as cold calling, outreach campaigns, and public speaking engagements to expand the dealership’s reach.
- Negotiate deals confidently with customers, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while upselling additional services or warranties.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current market trends, competitor activities, and high-end vehicle features to position inventory competitively.
- Oversee all aspects of sales support including phone etiquette, customer inquiries, and providing detailed product information.
- Ensure compliance with dealership policies, local regulations, and safety standards across all operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in automobile sales management or dealership operations with a focus on used vehicles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Demonstrated success in outside sales, B2B sales, negotiation, and upselling techniques.
