Overview
We are hiring a Support Services & Purchasing Manager to work at our secondary
location in Boca Raton, FL. (This is not a remote position – it is fully onsite.) This is a
hands-on position with management responsibilities that will perform a variety of duties as
required to maintain a constant flow of materials, equipment and supplies to our dental
clinics and Support Center. The selected candidate must be highly organized, detail oriented,
and able to work quickly in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. The ideal candidate
will have a dental background (Office Manager and/or Dental Assistant), strong
management and administrative capabilities, and be proactive, resourceful, and driven by a
high sense of urgency.
Responsibilities
• Process daily orders from our 140 dental offices
• Support vendor purchasing requirements, such as state/government issued license
(DEA & dental license), applications for permits, CSQ forms, etc
• Perform inventory reconciliation and inventory level assessments
• Collaborate with other departments and leadership to identify and develop needs and
requirements for equipment, materials, products, and acceptable substitutions
• Assess current material availability; reasonably predict future availability based on
the market, delivery systems, and other variables
• Resolve grievances with vendors, contractors, and suppliers
• Compile, review and analyze data
• Recommend changes to improve efficiency
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• 3 years of dental experience in office management and/or dental assisting
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
• Critical thinking skills, ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects
with overlapping deadlines
• Capacity to work independently or within a team environment, follow direction,
trouble shoot and meet goals and objectives in a timely manner
• Strong communication skills
• Associates Degree preferred; High School Diploma or equivalent required
