This role will work directly with the Finance Manager to assist in capturing and analyzing financial data. The analyst will play a key role in the budget & forecasting process, provide business analysis, and report on Mark Anthony Brewing’s financial results. This role will help support the development of financial reporting and is encouraged to proactively improve business processes.
Accountabilities:
- Identify and provide analysis on the drivers of Supply Chain financial variances
- Prepare journal entries and ensure financial impacts to the business are accurately accounted for.
- Partner with key Supply Chain stakeholders to understand operational expenses
- Budget and Forecasting of supply chain expenses
- Prepare and maintain financial models
- Provide ad hoc analysis and reporting
Key Metrics & Financial Targets:
- Direct COGs $ per case equivalent
- Production and Sales Volume
- Operational expenses for Chicago G&A cost centers
- Supply Chain operational targets (Quality, Safety, Material Usage, People)
Own:
- Analysis on drivers of Supply Chain financial variances, month-end close responsibilities, operational expenses for brewing business partners.
Influence:
- Refine and enhance existing reports to improve business processes.
Critical Relationships:
- Supply Chain Finance Team
- MAB G&A business partners
Skills Needed To Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s Degree, 2-5 years of proven experience in finance and accounting (CPG experience preferred)
- Strong proficiency using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, attention to detail & ability to work independently
- Comfortable handling large amounts of data and detail, and having the ability to see the big picture
Compensation:
Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
