Responsibilities
- Prepare and process outgoing shipments using warehouse management systems and ERP software such as AS400 or similar platforms.
- Verify shipping orders against inventory management software, ensuring accuracy in order picking, packing, and labeling.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers to load and unload goods efficiently.
- Manage shipping & receiving documentation, including bills of lading, customs paperwork for international trade compliance, and shipping logistics records.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through data entry and stock management within warehouse distribution systems.
- Collaborate with warehouse operations to coordinate order fulfillment, stocking, and packaging processes for e-commerce and wholesale customers.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and assist with cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy in accordance with trade compliance standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics environments with familiarity in inventory management software and ERP systems like AS400 or MRP systems.
- Strong knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing, and international trade regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and communication purposes.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and shipment measurements.
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and RF scanners.
- Excellent data entry skills combined with customer service orientation to support internal teams and external partners effectively.
- Prior experience with warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving processes, or e-commerce fulfillment is highly desirable.
