Primary responsibilities of the Senior Cost Accountant include:
- Run monthly costs, manufacturing reports and other schedules
- Interpret and evaluate data for labor metrics and efficiencies
- Interface with operations personnel and other cross-functional areas to develop spend analysis
- Gather data necessary and to report daily production metrics for each unit
- Analyze and understand scrap and usage variations
- Create, analyze and post month end accruals for labor
- Month end depreciation schedule and posting
Required Experience:
- 3 years of cost accounting with a manufacturing company
- Solid understanding of standard cost accounting
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
