The Opportunity
We are a fast-growing 3PL Warehouse services provider seeking an experienced hunter. The right candidate can be described as a resourceful, smart, detail-oriented, driven sales individual with 3PL domain expertise and a book of business to lead our venture to new heights. You will be responsible for fostering old and new relationships, driving sales and working collaboratively with others within the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing 3PL vendors and national ‘on demand warehousing’ organizations to generate quality leads applying industry best practices
- Regularly conduct C-level face to face meetings
- Work with operations to onboard customers meeting their specific service needs in the ways of space, storage, handling to provide a seamless experience
- Meet and exceed sales goals
- Be part of ‘all hands-on deck’ KPI reviews where operations, sales, and senior management team members openly discuss results and improvements.
- Accurately forecasting using sales and industry trends to plan for demand
- Provide support on ad-hoc requests and related special projects as required
- Communicate openly with senior management
- Strong Book of Business maintained over 8 years
- Excellent collaborative skills to perform and deliver alongside a sound team of supply chain professionals.
- Strong negotiating experience and extensive contract drafting knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of 3PL, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Transportation, E-comm
- Effective Communication & Emotional Intelligence
- Through understanding market trends and target demographics.
- Ability to close the deal, taking it all the way to the finish line.
- Strong ability to understand clients’ needs no matter the outcome, whether positive or negative and their decision-making processes to further advance the organization with potential future or current clients.
Knowledge, skills, and Abilities:
- Minimum 8 to 10 years’ experience in sales, generating new business. Selling to all-size regional and national businesses in a wide range of industries
- Maintain a customer roster and book of business of 6 to 8 years
- Must have direct experience demonstrating regular 3PL sales in excess of 1 Mill/ yr
- Ability to monitor the end-end sales cycle process
- Must have industry related pricing knowledge 3PL, warehousing and fulfillment services
- Knowledge or contacts to drive state and federal government opportunities
- Excellent written and oral communication, highly detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task, maintain a high level of organization, set priorities
- Display excellent problem-solving and solid analytical skills
Minimum required qualifications:
- Strong understanding of the 3rd Party Logistics and Supply Chain industry
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Advanced Excel capabilities, comfortable with formatting and customizing reports
- Ability to negotiate terms and services
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 8 years’ of professional experience
- Be a reliable representative of the company and affiliated businesses
