Job Overview
We are currently recruiting a Roustabout to support operations in the Abilene Texas area. Must live within a 50-mile radius of the office. Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship required.
License / Certification
Driver's License with clean driving record.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Knowledge and experience performing environmental operation functions.
- CDL preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Related experience preferred.
Job Responsibilities
- Ability to fuse poly pipe and operate tools required to accomplish this task.
- Ability to operate power tools and equipment.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance on oilfield infrastructure and gas fields using the proper tools.
- Assemble and disassemble oil field equipment.
- Basic knowledge of safety and security issues and regulations.
- Be willing to assist roustabouts and other co-workers in all aspects of work as needed.
- Build Tank Batteries
- Clean tools, equipment, and work areas
- Complete daily invoices
- Conduct housekeeping duties at the job site, on company vehicles and equipment.
- Learn and follow safety regulations as required by the organization.
- Maintain flow lines.
- Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
- Use hand tools, motorized lifts, etc. to perform duties.
- Willing to work in all-weather conditions.
- Work with hands to keep the equipment maintained and clean.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
