About the Role
Acute Care Gases is a growing respiratory solutions company providing Respiratory Therapists and equipment to residents of long-term care facilities. We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist in the Meriden and Vernon, CT area to provide equipment setups, resident assessments, education, and scheduled clinical support.
Requirements
- Active Respiratory Therapist license in the state of Connecticut
- 2 years of paid hospital experience required
- Home care or long-term care experience preferred
- Comfortable working independently as the sole Respiratory Therapist in a facility
- Able to assess residents and recommend changes to therapy or equipment as needed
- Strong communication and bedside education skills
- Able to travel between skilled nursing facilities
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing resident needs
- Available for scheduled weekend and holiday on-call coverage
