Regional Vice President
SUMMARY
The Regional Vice President is responsible for driving business growth and profitability within an assigned geographic region. This role focuses on identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing and inactive accounts. The Regional Vice President will lead sales strategy, partner with field management teams, and ensure revenue objectives are achieved through effective planning, execution, and relationship development.
This position requires approximately 20% travel. Sales experience in a multi-branch or multi-location organization is highly preferred.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for a minimum of 30 target accounts in collaboration with management.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, presentations, and relationship building.
- Partner with branch management and field teams to coordinate sales activities, including calls, presentations, proposals, and client meetings.
- Serve as the lead sales resource for targeted accounts, creating tailored account plans and ensuring consistent communication with branch offices.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within client organizations.
- Support branch teams by providing sales expertise, assisting with customized solutions, and enhancing local sales efforts.
- Negotiate pricing and contract terms in alignment with company strategy and profitability goals.
- Collaborate with branch and headquarters staff to expand product knowledge and ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activity, pipeline status, and client interactions in the company database.
- Participate in community and networking events to build brand awareness and establish new contacts.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and marketing materials as needed.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries and requests.
- Perform other related duties to ensure successful regional operations.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or equivalent business experience preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of proven outside sales experience, ideally with a focus on consultative, solution-based selling.
- Experience selling within multi-branch or multi-location organizations is a strong plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet-based research tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a strong focus on listening and relationship building.
- Demonstrated success achieving sales goals in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
