A well-established service organization with more than six decades of successful operations is seeking a dynamic Regional Director, located in Phoenix, Arizona to lead and grow an important regional market.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys having broad responsibility and wants to make a measurable impact. The Regional Director will oversee the overall performance of the Arizona market, including operations, financial results, client relationships, business development, team leadership, and regional growth.
We are looking for more than an administrator. We want an entrepreneurial leader who can run a region like a business, someone who is equally comfortable reviewing financial results, coaching managers, meeting with clients, pursuing new opportunities, solving operational challenges, and developing a strategy for growth.

What You'll Do
As Regional Director, you will have broad responsibility for the success of the Arizona region. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the overall operational and financial performance of the Arizona market.
- Develop and execute regional business plans designed to achieve revenue, profitability, client-retention, and growth objectives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop regional managers and other key team members.
- Establish performance expectations and hold leaders accountable for achieving operational and financial goals.
- Develop annual and quarterly budgets, forecasts, and performance objectives.
- Analyze financial and operational results and take appropriate action to improve performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, service quality, and profitability.
- Develop strong relationships with existing clients and serve as a senior point of contact for important accounts.
- Conduct strategic account reviews and identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships.
- Proactively address client concerns and develop strategies that strengthen retention.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout the Arizona market.
- Build relationships with prospective clients, key decision-makers, business partners, and referral sources.
- Maintain an active pipeline of qualified opportunities and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Participate in prospecting, networking, presentations, proposals, RFPs, negotiations, and new-business transitions.
- Develop compelling presentations and business solutions for prospective clients.
- Evaluate prospective opportunities from an operational and financial perspective.
- Monitor market conditions, competitive activity, and emerging business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to develop solutions, prepare proposals, transition new business, and support client relationships.
- Recruit and develop talented leaders capable of supporting continued regional growth.
- Establish a culture of ownership, responsiveness, collaboration, and high performance.
- Ensure regional teams consistently deliver a high-quality client and customer experience.
- Provide regular updates to senior leadership regarding regional performance, forecasts, opportunities, risks, and priorities.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate combines operational leadership with strong business development instincts. You know how to run a business, but you also enjoy building relationships and creating new opportunities.
Qualifications include:
- 5 years of progressive leadership experience in operations, business development, multi-site management, hospitality, facilities, property services, transportation, or another service-oriented business.
- Demonstrated experience managing a region, territory, market, business unit, or multi-location operation.
- Proven ability to lead and develop managers and high-performing teams.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and P&L management.
- Demonstrated success developing new business and expanding existing client relationships.
- Strong client relationship management and retention skills.
- Experience developing proposals, responding to RFPs, conducting presentations, and participating in negotiations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems and business-development pipeline management.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and related business technology.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; an equivalent combination of education and significant leadership experience will be considered.
