Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate proficiency in various medical practices, including weight loss & wellness, primary care, and specialized treatments. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. This position offers a flexible part-time schedule and telehealth hours.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines.
- Perform joint injections, and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Manage acute pain, chronic pain and perform medication management, including GLP-1 therapy and other weight loss medication.
- Utilize EMR for accurate documentation of patient records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a collaborative team approach
- Educate patients on health management strategies, including nutrition, lifestyle changes and chronic disease management.
Experience
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Weight loss & Wellness, Primary Care or Musculoskeletal
- EMR experience, eClinicalWorks preferred
- Proficiency in telehealth practices, preferred
- Experience performing joint injections
- Experience administering esthetic treatments such as botulinum toxin or dermal fillers is a plus.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
