Per Diem RN PCA Trainer

Home Care Agency is looking for a qualified per diem NYS Registered Nurse to conduct PCA/ACD trainings for new recruits, assist with HR paperwork, and verify IDs for fraud prevention.

Must be willing to travel to office in Vestal with the option to travel to office in Syracuse as well.

RN PCA Trainer Qualifications:

• Must be tech savvy - must be able to use a computer, copy/paste, email, update PDFs, PowerPoint, and more.
• Strong outgoing and people skills
• Responsible and punctual
• Valid NY RN license
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a RN
• 1 year of proven DOH licensed home care experience - must be on resume

Required Availability: Able to know schedule 1 month in advance, 9am-5pm for 5 - 10 consecutive days per month.

RN PCA Trainer Responsibilities:

• Conduct PCA training, ACD test outs, and orient new aides into the company
• Ensure every applicant has proper IDs and ascertain that the picture matches the respective individual prior to signing them in
• Verify and complete HR paperwork
• Train new recruits on company policy & procedure based on information provided
• Demonstrate required skills and ensure that all attendees are well-versed
