About the Position
We are seeking a skilled Tractor-Trailer Mechanic to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining tractor-trailers to ensure the safe and reliable operation of our fleet. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance services on tractors and trailers.
- Inspect, repair, and replace brake systems, suspension components, tires, and steering systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical, lighting, and air systems.
- Complete DOT inspections and ensure equipment compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Perform welding and fabrication repairs as needed.
- Accurately document repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Respond to emergency repair needs when necessary.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
