Oil & Gas Accountant
A Midland, Texas based Independent Oil & Gas Company, with an active horizontal drilling program, is seeking a full-time Oil & Gas Accountant.
Responsibilities include joint interest billing, revenue distribution, accounts payable, and accounts receivable and general ledger, preparation of journal entries and data entry, meeting monthly deadlines.
Other responsibilities also include cash management, ad valorem tax payment, Texas and New Mexico severance tax reports and payments, calculation and preparation of payout statements, preparation of daily deposits for several entities and data entry, insurance certificate management/ data entry and filing and bank reconciliations for several entities.

- Data Entry Skills a Must
- Proficiency in Microsoft Programs EXCEL and WORD
- At least 2 years experience preferred
- Working knowledge of oil and Gas software (integra/ OGAS) is preferred
- Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities
