What are the responsibilities and job description for the Network Administrator position at Confidential?
Great opportunity to be on Long Island with a financial services firm. Maintains the firm’s IT infrastructure as described below and provides support to desktop support teams as needed.
Onsite - Role located in Melvile
Configures, installs, maintains and provides support for the below technologies:
o Microsoft Active Directory. Experience with Group Policy, DNS, Sites and Services, DHCP, Powershell
o Server hardware configurations (specifically Cisco C-Series)
o Hyper-V, and Microsoft System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)
o Patch management for desktop/servers via Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
o Exchange 2019 including DAG configurations
o Microsoft SQL 2022 including AG configurations
o VMWare ESXi, vCenter and vSAN configurations
o Cisco Email Security Appliances
· Experience with Microsoft Azure (IAAS and PAAS implementations)
· Knowledge of backup processes and disaster recovery. Experience with CommVault Commcell backup solutions
· Ability to proactively assess security updates across all products and implementations mentioned
· Monitors system availability and performance
· Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
