MDS Coordinator (RNAC)
Skilled Nursing Facility | Eastern Pennsylvania
A well-established skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced MDS Coordinator (RNAC) to join our clinical team. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring accurate assessments, regulatory compliance, and optimal reimbursement.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and knowledgeable RN who understands the impact of MDS accuracy on both patient care and facility performance.
Responsibilities:
- Complete and oversee MDS/RAI assessments in accordance with CMS guidelines
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all MDS assessments
- Manage ARD scheduling and maintain compliance with assessment timelines
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to capture accurate clinical data
- Monitor case mix and support efforts to optimize reimbursement (PDPM)
- Prepare for and support audits and regulatory surveys
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of MDS regulations and changes
Qualifications:
- Active RN license (required)
- 2 years of MDS/RNAC experience in a skilled nursing facility
- Strong knowledge of MDS 3.0, RAI process, and PDPM reimbursement
- Proven ability to manage schedules and meet strict deadlines
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
