We are a locally owned and operated countertop fabrication and installation company dedicated to delivering expertly customized, perfectly cut, and professionally installed countertops for residential and commercial customers. With over 10 years of experience, we pride ourselves on our craftsmanship, precision, and commitment to delivering outstanding results for our residential and commercial customers. We recently invested in a new 5-Axis CNC saw and expanded our shop to support faster turnaround and tighter tolerances — and we're looking for a Lead Installer to help set the standard as we grow.
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Countertop Installer who can take ownership of installation projects from start to finish and train others on best practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation of granite, quartz, marble, and solid surface countertops in kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial spaces.
- Perform sink installation (undermount, drop-in, farmhouse, apron-front), including faucet hole drilling and sealing.
- Make on-site adjustments as needed — cutting, trimming, and polishing countertops or backsplashes for a perfect fit.
- Complete a final quality check on every job before sign-off, verifying sink cutout alignment, notch placement, and polish finish meet spec.
- Safely transport, handle, and set stone slabs using proper lifting equipment and techniques.
- Operate shop and job-site equipment, including forklifts, saws, polishers, and other stone-handling tools.
- Supervise and mentor junior installers/helpers, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety on every job.
- Troubleshoot installation issues on-site and provide solutions in real time.
- Communicate professionally with customers, project managers, and the fabrication team.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in clean, safe working condition.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in countertop installation with proven expertise in stone fabrication/installation.
- Strong experience installing sinks and making on-site countertop/backsplash adjustments (cutting, polishing, drilling).
- Proficiency with stone fabrication tools, grinders, polishers, and cutting equipment.
- Ability to operate a forklift and safely handle heavy slabs and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop tickets, and measurement templates.
- Physical ability to lift 75–100 lbs and work in varied job site conditions.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of cabinetry leveling and alignment.
- Ability to finish edges, seams, and polish stone to customer standards.
- Experience training junior installers or helpers.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
