The role
We are looking for an HR Generalist to keep the Vancouver office running smoothly. It is a hands-on generalist role covering recruitment, employee support, payroll and benefits administration, and day-to-day office management.
What you will do
- Manage recruitment end-to-end: postings, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Be the first point of contact for employee questions on policy, benefits, and pay.
- Administer payroll input, group benefits, and the performance review cycle.
- Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR policies.
- Keep the company compliant with BC employment standards and WorkSafeBC requirements.
- Run the office: supplies, vendors, facilities, and health and safety.
- Track office and HR spend, process invoices and expense claims.
- Coordinate meetings, travel, and company events.
- Support other legal entities
What you need
- Proven HR experience, including time as a generalist or manager.
- Working knowledge of BC employment standards and Canadian payroll and benefits.
- Strong organization, clear communication, and discretion with confidential information.
- Comfort with HRIS and payroll software.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- CPHR designation is an asset.
