We are seeking an experienced HR Director to join a growing financial services company based in North Palm Beach. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for a proactive professional who thrives operating as a one-person HR department. You will support the full scope of Human Resources functions, directly impacting company culture, operations, and overall business success.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the sole HR leader managing all core HR functions including payroll processing, full-cycle recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, employee relations, training, compliance, and more.
- Advise and partner closely with ownership, providing insight into employee needs and recommending initiatives to strengthen the organization.
- Lead special projects, including:
- Creating or updating the Employee Handbook
- Designing employee engagement and recognition programs
- Refining the performance review process
- Building or improving the future benefits program
Who We're Looking For:
- A self-starter with the ability to independently manage all facets of HR in a small-company environment.
- Previous experience operating as a one-person HR department is highly preferred.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within a small or entrepreneurial environment.
- Expertise in recruiting strategies and talent acquisition best practices.
- Proven ability to train managers and employees, building organizational capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational, critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and sound judgment in handling sensitive HR matters.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
