Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing daily restaurant operations, including managing staff and ensuring high-quality customer service
- Hiring, training, and scheduling employees to ensure adequate coverage and optimal team performance
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all guests and team members
- Evaluating employee performance, providing feedback, and implementing performance improvement plans as necessary
Qualifications:
- Experience in restaurant management, including experience in hiring, training, and supervising employees
- Proven track record of providing exceptional customer service and fostering a positive workplace culture
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and experience managing inventory and ordering supplies
- Passion for scratch-made food and commitment to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all guests and team members
- Knowledge of bar operations, including drink preparation, inventory management, and customer service.
- Actively engages customers through effective upselling and product recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
Working Conditions
- Hours may vary as managers must fill in for his/her employees or if emergencies arise.
- Ability to perform all functions at the restaurant level.
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, lifting products and supplies weighing 45 pounds, and repetitive hand and wrist motion.
- Work with hot, cold, and hazardous equipment as well as operating phones, computers, printers, and other office equipment.
