What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Manager position at Confidential?
In search of a competent, organized and responsible person to manage a 425 acre property with European, perennial and rose gardens and a horse facility. We are looking for an aggressive and hardworking manager to oversee all landscaping and property maintenance and to initiate and manage a sporting/hunting operation on undeveloped land. We have multiple employees onsite but this person should not be afraid to get his/her hands dirty and be willing to work side by side with people he oversees to get the job done. . This individual needs to be capable of operating farming and landscape machinery, and have excellent employee management skills. We prefer someone with experience and knowledgeable in landscape and/or farming management and capable of developing a profitable farming operation. A minimum associates degree in horticulture, agriculture OR agribusiness is a plus. Housing provided as an option and salary is negotiable.
