Electronics Test Technician

Job Overview:

Company located in Horicon Wisconsin is seeking an Electronic Test Technician to join our team! We are a growing, fast paced leader in custom electronic controls for OEM’s. Responsibilities: (You will be doing…)

· Participate in the production test process.

· Interpret technical engineering documents, such as schematics, electronic drawings and test plans.

· Setup and operate complex test equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards.

· Assist with tasks related to new product development (product rework, repair or modification).

· Provide guidance to production personnel to resolve technical issues.

· Build test harnesses and setups per instructions/schematics.

· Perform testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems.

Qualifications: (You must have….)

· Associate degree in Electrical Engineering / Electronics Technology or equivalent.

· 1-year experience using Labview software, preferred.

· IPC-A-610 Certification, preferred.

· Effective problem-solving skills.

· Ability to set up and operate test equipment, including a computer-based test system.

· Aptitude for working with the tools and equipment common to the testing area.

· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Ability to consistently meet project deadlines.

· Proficient at soldering surface mount and through-hole components.

· Must be able to interpret test documentation and implement an automated test program to complete the testing process.

Pay: $24.00 - $35.00 per hour
