Client: Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT)
Location: Tallahassee, FL (100% Remote Eligible)
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications using Microsoft .NET technologies
- Work on modernization and migration of legacy systems including DB2, COBOL, CA-GEN, and FOCUS/WebFOCUS applications
- Develop scalable solutions using C#, ASP.NET MVC, WebAPI, REST APIs, SQL Server, Angular, and related technologies
- Collaborate with business users, SMEs, and cross-functional development teams
- Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and production support
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support UAT activities
- Research and document FDOT business processes and technical assets
- Support cloud-based application architecture using Azure PaaS/IaaS services
- Participate in Agile and Waterfall SDLC environments
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to distributed development teams
Required Skills
- 5 years of experience with:
- C#
- ASP.NET MVC
- WCF/WebAPI
- SQL Server
- REST APIs
- XML/JSON
- HTML/CSS
- JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Knockout)
- Python
- Strong experience with enterprise application development
- Experience with RDBMS including SQL Server and DB2
- Knowledge of OOP concepts, design patterns, and troubleshooting strategies
- Experience working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
